Educational Requirements:
∎ Medical graduate (MBBS) with Master degree in Public health or Master degree from any Social Science field.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Under the direct supervision of Program Manager, this position will be responsible for:
∎ Implementation of project workplan aligned with budget in liaison with the Program Manager, Technical team and Finance and Administration team
∎ Develop and implement detailed implementation plan, monitoring and evaluation framework, and other reports required by the donor
∎ Coordinate and facilitate discussions with the district managers and officials from DGNM, DGHS, DGFP and others at the division level to develop a district level scale up plan
∎ Contribute to developing a functional and effective PPFP service delivery model by integrating PPFP into ANC, deliver, postnatal and immunization service delivery points
∎ Provide ongoing management at the district level in response to issues or problems encountered during project implementation
∎ Conduct facility visits to ensure selected facilities are adequately set up to provide PPFP services
∎ Assist in facilitating review meetings with community health workers, immunization providers
∎ Contribute to strengthening and deployment of a community tracking system for women, babies, community health workers and facility providers
∎ S/he will facilitate DGFP & DGHS led selected health facilities, data-driven planning and reviews, mobilize local government bodies and other non-health sectors to support the public and private sector FP/PPFP interventions.
∎ The District Manager will liaison with district level MOH&FW and relevant Government officials, monitor the performances of the service providers of selected facilities and provide necessary support, review regular implementation plan and budget burn trend analysis.
∎ Oversee all district level program activities including:
∎ - Continuous communication/collaboration with the program team
∎ - Assist with M&E activities; ensuring timely and accurate reporting of results
∎ - Cultivating strategic relationships and alliances with other local non-governmental organizations and donors including private sector partnerships
∎ - Coordinating with technical team members in the design, analysis, and synthesis of interventions
∎ Contribute to program reports or any other documentation requested by the donor
∎ Document program success, challenges, case study and lessons learned and share with team
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 6 years' experience with 3 years in program management, preferably field implementation of Family Planning & maternal and child health related programs (in case of medical doctors, required education and experience may be relaxed).
∎ Skills
∎ Experience of working in a clinical setting
∎ Demonstrated experience of working closely with the government agencies, especially with DGHS & DGFP and experience of working with a large complex multi-partner team.
∎ Understanding of NGO and public sector and national health system issues is necessary.
∎ Fluency in Bangla and English
∎ Effective communication skill (verbal/nonverbal)
∎ Effective presentation of relevant information (oral & written)
∎ Willingness to travel (at least 60% of time) in field areas, proficiency in Microsoft Office packages
∎ Qualifications:
∎ Minimum 5-7 years working experience in program development and project management with international/development organizations
∎ Experience in FP/maternal health and/or community interventions
∎ Experience working with District/Upazila level government counterparts
∎ Strong ability to work and communicate within a team
∎ Strong ability to communicate with local level stakeholders
∎ English language proficiency preferred
∎ Ability to work independently and to exercise independent judgment
∎ Ability to ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations
∎ Ability to work in a complex environment with multiple tasks, short deadlines and pressure to perform
∎ Proven leadership skills, as well as skills in facilitation, training, and coordination
∎ Demonstrated ability to exercise confidentiality and professionalism
