• At least 10 Years of experience in positions such as Deputy Director of Finance /Chief Financial Officer (CFO)/Financial Controller/Senior Finance Manager.

• Proven expertise in financial governance, budgeting, auditing, and strategic financial planning.

• Strong leadership and strategic decision-making ability.

• High-level financial analysis and reporting skills.

• Expertise in compliance, taxation, and audit systems.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced institutional setup.

• Strong ethical standards and integrity.

To support this transformative journey, the university is seeking highly qualified, visionary Finance professionals to strengthen institutional foundations. The Director of Finance will serve as a key member of the senior leadership team, responsible for establishing and managing the university’s financial systems, policies, budgeting framework, compliance structure, and long-term financial sustainability. The role requires strategic financial leadership aligned with higher education governance standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the university’s financial strategy, policies, and internal control systems.

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and fund management.

• Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and audit requirements.

• Manage accounts, treasury, taxation, and financial reporting functions.

• Establish ERP-based financial systems and procedures.

• Advise the Vice Chancellor, Board of Trustees, and senior management on financial planning and risk management.

• Ensure transparency, accountability, and efficiency in all financial operations.

• Lead and develop the finance and accounts team.

• Liaise with external auditors, regulatory bodies, banks, and financial institutions.

• Support project financing, endowment management, and investment planning.
