Job Context:
∎ We are looking for DGM/GM - Accounts and Finance at Garments Accessories Manufacturer & Exporter Company.
∎ Workplace: Work at Head Office and Factory.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and Implement financial strategies aligned with the company's long-term goals and objectives.
∎ Ensure compliance with international financial Reporting standards (IFRS) and others relevant accounting standards.
∎ Corporate Governance and Regulatory Compliance.
∎ Professionally sound in IASs & IFRSs and Continuous Updates on IASs & IFRSs.
∎ Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports including income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement and variance analysis to the board of directors and senior management.
∎ Prepare the monthly and yearly Financial Statements and submit the same to the government authority (like Tax/RJSC) and for Bank.
∎ Manage overall Tax & VAT matters of the Company which includes but is not limited to payment, processing, and submission of Tax & VAT returns/reports on time, handling external audits/disputes/appeals, and maintaining good relations with relevant authorities.
∎ Advising on long-term business and financial planning.
∎ Perform risk management by analyzing the organization's liabilities and investments.
∎ Control and evaluate the organization's fundraising plans and capital structure.
∎ Develop and implement policies and procedures for accounting, internal control, financial planning, and reporting.
∎ Take initiative for improving operational efficiencies, controlling overheads, and optimizing working capital.
∎ Ensure appropriate cash flow for the organization's operation by coordinating with the sales team.
∎ Develop and maintain working relationships with Bankers, Auditors, and regulatory agencies.
∎ Define overhead cost allocation and repatriation guidelines.
∎ Ensure compliance with the law and company's policies.
∎ Review & validate SOPs, policies, and processes to ensure compliance.
∎ Perform any other job assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 40 years
∎ Skills Required: Effective communication and interpersonal skills, excellent leadership skills.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Garments (RMG)/Garment Accessories Manufacturing Industries.
∎ In-depth knowledge of corporate financial law, Tax, VAT, and risk management practices.
∎ Excellent knowledge of data analysis, forecasting methods, and reporting.
∎ Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
∎ Proactive, honest, sincere, hardworking & self-motivated.
∎ Motivated individual with the proven ability to organize and complete tasks in an efficient, methodical, and organized manner.
∎ Ability to analyze strategies and solve problems.
∎ Ability to work under a pressured environment.
