Education:
∎ Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), Bachelor of Science (BSc), Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Animal Husbandry
∎ Advanced degree in a related field.

∎ Age 30 to 50 years
∎ Strong leadership, team-building, and problem-solving skills.
∎ Knowledge of poultry husbandry, animal welfare regulations, and biosecurity protocols.
∎ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and production management software.
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
∎ Bilingual in English and Bangla preferred.

∎ Stand and walk constantly
∎ Have the ability to travel frequently.
∎ Must have a bike and license of driving.
∎ Similar industry work experience with team leading history.
∎ 2 or more years of previous poultry industry experience.
∎ Experience in lean manufacturing or process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee the supervision of the day to day operations of the production department and maintain poultry business documentation and maintain compliance requirements.
∎ Responsible for poultry production and flock management to insure the proper daytoday body gain of the birds.
∎ Address any issues that are found during the daily inspections of the flocks or farms and follow-up as needed.
∎ Maintain, Follow up , Create and implement policies and procedures as needed. Recommends improvements in production methods/policy if needed.
∎ Manage the uses purchased of medicines-vaccines and other medical inventory control process.
∎ Effectively manage staff by providing coaching, training, and direction as needed to staff; assist the internal audit team.
∎ Ensures performance appraisals are provided in a timely and effective manner.
∎ Respond to performance issues and provide development opportunities and/or feedback.
∎ Coordinate publicity programs ( Farmers seminars/ Uthan Boithoks) and training sessions for the farmers and assist them as needed. Verify that effective safety practices and procedures are being followed.
∎ Coordinate contract farmers, transportation, and buyers for all bird moves.
∎ Maintain CLM and Mortality standards.
∎ Communicate with nutritionist and the feed mill any special needs or changes.
∎ Generate reports to the corporate office provide progress reports and findings for the production through MS Excel with expert efficiency.
∎ Coordinate with the feed mill to monitor the progress of feed deliveries, diets, and safe feed/safe food program.
∎ Analysis the previous day’s number of flocks, farms and sales with the supervisor to determine if adjustments need made.
∎ Arrange and schedule weekly meetings to provide progress reports to the supervisor.
∎ Other duties as assigned
