Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and implement tax strategies that aim to minimize tax liabilities while remaining compliant with the law
∎ Ensure that the organization complies with all relevant tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements
∎ Oversee the management and reporting of Value Added Tax (VAT) ensuring accurate VAT calculations, preparing, and submitting VAT returns, and addressing any VAT-related issues
∎ Coordinate and manage tax audits and assessments by tax authorities. Prepare and provide all necessary documentation, respond to inquiries, and represent the company during audits, if required
∎ Prepare and file accurate and timely tax returns, including corporate income tax, VAT, and other relevant taxes, ensuring adherence to regulations
∎ Develop and maintain tax policies and procedures, outlining the company's tax strategy and guidelines
∎ Maintain liaison and working with regulatory bodies, tax consultant, internal and external auditors & other parties
∎ Implement changes in Tax and VAT law through Finance Act every year
∎ Any other task assigned by the management

Additional Requirements:
∎ 8 to 10 years of experience in the relevant field (pre and post qualification)
∎ Thorough knowledge of IAS/IFRS, VAT & Tax related issues and other regulatory requirements
