∎ 5 to 7 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Tax and VAT
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Garments
Job Context:
∎ Clear understanding & experience in the area of the overall accounting function.
∎ Clear understanding of Tax & VAT is necessary.
∎ Proficient in using Oracle Based ERP software.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Managing all Tax and VAT affairs.
∎ Dealing with all regulatory authority.
∎ Quarterly/half-yearly/yearly financial statement preparation.
∎ LC and loan wise monthly reporting.
∎ Payable and receivable management and aging calculation.
∎ Continuously update VAT management policies and ensure compliance with VAT laws.
∎ Ensure that all VAT registrations are updated for all units.
∎ Submit and Persuade to realize duty drawbacks.
∎ Maintain an updated database for VAT related laws and circulations.
∎ Ensure users are educated about the existing/updated/amended VAT Laws.
∎ Review the consistencies of VAT accounts of individual entities.
∎ Ensure VAT returns are prepared, reviewed, and submitted within deadlines to avoid penalties/interest.
∎ Analyze transactions to determine correct VAT-treatment.
∎ Identify and make recommendations for improving systems and processes as per current legislation.
∎ Generate VAT related report according to management requirement.
∎ Any other task assigned by management as and when required.
