Educational Requirements:
∎ MBA (Major in Accounting)/ M. Com/Master's in any relevant subject or equivalent from any reputed university/institutions
∎ Chartered Accountancy Course Completed (CACC) and having experience in managing PNGO Financial Management will get preference.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Finalize reports on Desk review of Partners financial reports and share the findings with line manager.
∎ Ensure the partners are complying with all BRAC and donor policies and procedures
∎ Pre-Award Assessment; Undertake pre-award assessment of partners
∎ Prepare the report based on findings and gap analysis with cost effective plan to address the gaps
∎ Capacity Building; support in developing the capacity building planning
∎ Support in capacity building of partner (finance) staff and deliver the orientation session of finance staff and partners for new grants or refresher session for existing grants
∎ Financial Monitoring; monitoring of partners at field level for risky partners and coach the relevant Finance and other Partner staff as needed
∎ Coordination with other finance units and Budget Holders on partner related issues
∎ Finalize monitoring reports of partners and give feedback and follow-up.
∎ Contracts (Sub Award Agreement); directly involved in preparation of partner contracts (Sub Award Agreement) and amendments of the said contracts.
∎ Assist for finalization of partner NGOs budgets and phasing of budgets.
∎ Partner Payments & Expenditure/Income Adjustment; Responsible for accounting and tracking partner payments and preparation of partner disbursements
∎ Supporting payables unit in estimating the fund requirement for partners
∎ Assist in the Staff Management and Capacity Development of PNGOs; Assist Manager Sub Grants in the training, coaching and development of financial skills in non-accounting staff, particularly budget holders (if necessary).
∎ Provides technical support in the area of finance to PNGOs' staff as needed.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ BRAC's values and mission, development sector, global development scenario to identify funding trends, financial and grants management, donor agencies
∎ Budgeting and accounting, accounting software skills, communication, researching, writing, monitoring and evaluating, preparing reports, auditing, analysing budgets
∎ Facilitating group meetings, managing timelines, oral and written fluency in both Bangla and English, handling critical issues with the sector
∎ Having experience in PNGO's financial monitoring and working as an internal auditor will be added as extra qualification and will get preference.
∎ Excellent analytical skills - the ability to analyse complex financial data and design and produce effective management information.
∎ Excellent experience of budgeting and budget management.
∎ Excellent understanding of financial systems and procedures.
∎ Excellent experience of computerised accounts packages, MS Office.
∎ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ Ability to manage a complex and diverse workload and to work to tight deadlines.
∎ Ability to contribute to the proactive team and working collaboratively with colleagues and providing support as necessary.
