Responsibilities & Context:

1. Project Operations Management :

  • Lead the execution of ongoing and upcoming hospital/diagnostic projects (civil, MEP, medical equipment installation, IT infrastructure).

  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, consultants, and internal departments to ensure timely project completion within budget.

  • Monitor project progress, generate reports, and escalate issues for timely resolution.

  • Ensure regulatory and healthcare compliance during project development.

2. Facility Operation & Maintenance :

  • Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for all facilities, utilities, and equipment.

  • Oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, biomedical, and IT systems to ensure 24/7 functionality.

  • Ensure medical equipment calibration and maintenance in compliance with healthcare standards.

  • Supervise housekeeping, security, and support services to maintain world-class hospital environment.

3. Vendor & Resource Management :

  • Manage contracts and service level agreements (SLA) with vendors and service providers.

  • Control operation and maintenance costs through effective budgeting and monitoring.

  • Ensure spare parts inventory and resource allocation to minimize downtime.

4. Compliance & Safety :

  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, fire safety standards, and environmental health requirements.

  • Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and emergency preparedness drills.

  • Maintain documentation for ISO, NABH, and other healthcare accreditation standards.

5. Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead a team of engineers, technicians, and support staff for smooth facility operation.

  • Provide training, mentoring, and performance evaluation of the team.

  • Develop SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for operations and maintenance functions.
