∎ Ipas Bangladesh is a partner of a Consortium led by Concern Worldwide to implement a large health programme funded by DFID to increase access to quality essential healthcare for the disadvantaged, including people with disabilities, through innovative approaches and covering around 2 million people in urban and rural areas in the underserved, remote coastal areas in the Khulna and Barishal Division of Bangladesh. The programme duration is three and half years from 2019- 2022.
∎ Ipas Bangladesh is seeking applications from hardworking, sincere and cheerful individuals for the following position for its Essential Healthcare for the Disadvantaged (EHD) in Bangladesh project funded by DFID.
∎ Position: Deputy Manager - Grants Finance (Advisor I), Essential Healthcare for the Disadvantaged (EHD) in Bangladesh project
∎ Job Summary: The Deputy Manager - Grants Finance, Essential Healthcare for the Disadvantaged (EHD) in Bangladesh project will be responsible for budgeting, sub-recipient fund disbursement & expenditure monitoring and periodical donor reporting. Additional responsibilities will include carrying out financial due diligence on sub-recipients selected for partnership, preparing financial reports for annual audit and FD4 reporting to comply with NGOAB reporting requirement
∎ This position is also responsible for general accounting, processing of financial documents, entering data into financial software Workday, and assisting in preparation of timely and accurate financial statements and reports.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Accounting qualifications- CPA (K) or ACCA is preferable
∎ 10 Years work experience with an INGO in Grants Finance Unit
∎ Experience of institutional donor financial reporting e.g. DFID, UNFPA, GAC etc.
∎ Proficient in grants project budgeting for different donors.
∎ Experience in NGO Affairs Bureau reporting and knowledge about relevant government financial rules and regulations
∎ Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines and be able to manage multiple priorities.
Salary:
∎ Ipas Bangladesh will offer an annual salary of BDT 1,400,000-1,440,000
