Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc. in Computer Science & Engineering from any reputed university.
∎ Training/Certification in MSSQL DBA is an advantage but not mandatory.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2005 through 2017
∎ Administration of Database Service (MSSQL), Report Service (SSRS) & Integration Service (SSIS) Installation and Analysis Service (SSAS)
∎ Database Clustering & Always On High Availability (AOAG) Design and Configuration
∎ Configuration and administration of Database Mirroring, Log Shipping, Replication & Cloning.
∎ Knowledge of Scripting through T-SQL, PowerShell, Stored Procedure, Trigger, and index creation and tuning
∎ Troubleshooting performance with SQL Server Profiler, Database Engine Tuning Advisor or Solarwind DPA
∎ Database Backup Assurance and Disaster Recovery planning and implementation
∎ Performance Analysis & Optimization
∎ Database Monitoring, Notification and Alerting
∎ Database Security Assurance
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience professional with MSSQL Certification (MCSA) in SQL 2012/2014/2016 from SQL Database administration side will be highly preferred.
∎ Two (02) to Five (05) years of industry experience.
∎ Strong knowledge on Database Backup, Recovery, Log Shipping, Mirroring, High-Availability and Disaster Recovery solution knowledge for SQL server is must.
∎ Install and maintain the DBMS server along with operating systems as well as all supporting software.
∎ Understanding of Windows Server 2003-2016 operation
∎ Strong problem solving skill using SQL & T-SQL & Experience with ETL process and Data Migration.
∎ Experience with different Reporting/BI tools i.e. PowerBI, Cristal Report, iReport etc.
∎ Understanding of Azure or other cloud database offerings
∎ Understanding of MySQL and Oracle administration
∎ Additional Job Requirements:
∎ Excellent communication skill in English.
∎ High integrity and intellectuality.
∎ Must be willing to work on flexible office hours.
∎ Willing to take ownership and handle workload proactively.
∎ Adherent to teamwork and always represent team in work and achievement.
