Job Context

The Customer Service Officer will be responsible for greeting and assisting visitors and clients, managing phone and email communications, organizing appointments and calendars, and providing administrative support. This role also involves maintaining student records, managing office supplies, and ensuring a professional reception area.


Job Responsibilities

Client and Visitor Relations

  • Act as the first point of contact, providing a professional and friendly welcome to clients, students, and visitors.

  • Answer general inquiries about study abroad services, admissions, and the application process.

  • Direct visitors to the appropriate department or staff member.

Communication and Scheduling

  • Answer, screen, and redirect incoming phone calls.

  • Manage incoming and outgoing emails, sorting and forwarding them appropriately.

  • Schedule and confirm appointments for counselors and consultants, ensuring calendars are up-to-date.

  • Handle messages for staff and coordinate conference calls.

Administrative and Clerical Duties

  • Maintain and update client and student records and files in an organized manner.

  • Handle general administrative tasks including filing, scanning, and photocopying.

  • Assist clients with filling out documentation for their study abroad process.

  • Manage and order office supplies to ensure the front desk is always stocked.

Office Management and Organization

  • Ensure the reception area is tidy, professional, and well-equipped.

  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail and packages.

  • Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any field.

  • For experienced candidates, HSC or equivalent is acceptable.

  • Skills: Exceptional customer service, in-depth knowledge of the study abroad process, strong communication and administrative skills, and professional manners.


Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months of relevant experience


Additional Requirements

  • Age: 18–30 years
