TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS 

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve and or Final Cut Pro.
• Basic skills in After Effects or motion graphics are a plus.
• Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in editing educational, documentary, or event-based content is preferred.
• Portfolio or previous work samples are mandatory. 

EXPERIENCE

• Should have at least 2 years of experience in the relevant field

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Computer Literacy
• Ability to work under pressure
• Well versed in English and Bangla
• Ability to write subtitles for videos

REPORTING

• The incumbent will report to the Deputy Director, Communications

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Edit videos for social media, promotional campaigns, campus events, academic programs and internal communication.

• Assemble raw footage, sync audio, color-correct, and refine final outputs.

• Work closely with the communication team to understand project goals and ensure consistent visual style.

• Add motion graphics, titles, subtitles, and simple animations when required.

• Manage media assets, maintain organized project files, and meet tight deadlines.

• Ensure final video quality meets university standards.

• Develop engaging and compelling scripts for video content

• Meet tight deadlines and work efficiently in a fast-paced social media environment to create video content as and when required

• Escalate any complex queries or issues to the appropriate department or team for resolution.
