Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc in nursing with Registration from Bangladesh Nursing & Midwifery Council (BNMC). Master of Public Health (MPH) will be given preference.

∎ There are vacancies for the following contractual position based at LAMB Training Center, Parbatipur, Dinajpur:
∎ Job Summary:
∎ Responsible to work as a supervisor and as a member of the Diploma in Midwifery educational team and to assist the teaching staff of the Training Center & Nursing Institute in developing and teaching Health Care Provider, nursing and midwifery students and other trainees according to the set standards and curriculum. Provide clinical supervision for the midwives, TC Students or Trainees/nursing/ during practical placements on the wards and in the community. Works as a Nurse Midwife and Health Care Provider in Labour & Delivery, MW, SW,PW, GW, antenatal clinics, under 18 clinic to maintain skills and do on the job assessment and training of the TC all student.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ 01. Liaise with the team (clinical and quality Assurance) at LAMB Academic site with DMP 2 Instructors, Training Center staff, Hospital and CHDP staff.
∎ 02. Have a regular sitting with the Instructors/2 class Captain/Residence Incharge: to discuss about the training, trainees, if there are any problem they are facing b. Teaching methods/lesson plan, c. Teaching materials d. Prepare Class schedule/duty roster, Follow academic rules, residence rules etc.
∎ 03. Designs and develops curriculum: assists the course coordinator to work with the expert groups to develop the curriculum in the following areas. Eg:
∎ a. Objectives
∎ B. Content
∎ C. Method and Materials-Participatory based on the principals of adult learning
∎ D. Training evaluation- Prepare pre-& Post test, Observation check list (Knowledge - Skills-attitude), other evaluation method as develop
∎ e. Prepare Less Plan with the course coordinator. This will include : Training Objectives, methodology, materials including handouts, evaluating the objectives, Time for each session and space for clinical/practical
∎ f. Learning need and resource assessment, pre and post test questions, OSCE (Objectives Based structured Clinical Examination) questions in consultation with the team member and senior person of the LAMB as per need.
∎ 04. Develop Training Schedule for classroom teaching for the Instructor in consultation with the BRACU Dhaka, DMP 2 team, Project Manager, DMP 2 Supportive staff and TC Director.

∎ 05. Develop clinical rotational plan for the Instructors and student for clinical practice in consultation with the DMP 2 team, TC Trainers Team, NI responsible person and share to TC Director.
∎ 06. Provide Supportive Supervision to the all DMP 2 Instructor and students.

∎ 07. Supervise the Instructors and ensure their compliance with the set standards.
∎ 08. Coordinate with the other TC & NI staff as per need
∎ 09. keep strong regular communication & coordination with BRACU Midwifery Focal Person, Dhaka: daily update the information to BRACU, send and receive information through mail and mobile, disseminate information as per need to Midwifery staff & related person..
∎ 10. communication & Receive visitor, Guest & Auditor: sit with monthly monitoring visitors from BRACU, receive /ace Midwifery visitors, meet with internal & External auditor monthly and quarterly.
∎ 11. Take responsibility when Project Manager will be absent in working place:
∎ 12. Teaches classroom teaching as per Education Calender which is send by the BRACU Dhaka
∎ 13. Arrange extra training for the staff and student for develop Knowledge/skill/attitude eg: LAMB MVV, HBB, KMC, BF, PHC, TOT etc.
∎ 14. Assist DMP 2 supportive team as per need eg: ensure food booking, classroom booking, training materials requisition and supply timely.
∎ 15. Report writing for each module/course after completion of the Module and exam: after completion of any Course/Module he/she will prepare a exam sheet on English and will send to final checking with PM and will send to BRACU.
∎ 16. Ensure The Quality of Education Programme by receiving feedback from the students, Instructors, ARPs, course evaluation, pre-post test exam, clinical target fill up, OSCE exam performance result. And will send modular feedback to BRACU Dhaka
∎ 17. Prepares the skills labs with the team for specific session demonstrations. Teaches students through demonstration o the session plan. During final exam arrange OSCE (as per need).
∎ 18. Participates in DMP 2 & TC team meeting: DMP 2 team meeting, TC Admin & PMT meeting, Pertner Coordination meeting (PCC), Maternity coordination meeting, meeting when scheduled for the purpose of keeping coordination and communication within the departments.
∎ 19. Prepare combined inservice schedule and Leads in-services for DMP 2 staffs, TC Staff & Participates in TC inservice monthly for the purpose of maintaining and developing training skills.
∎ 20. Works as a Senior Nurse Midwife as scheduled : an average of 1 week per month, Works shifts as a senior Nurse Midwife on all the wards including Labour & delivery ward as per schedule/when schedule
∎ 21. Fulfils teaching requirements per yearly teaching plan both in the classroom and during practical placements on the wards and in the community and willing to stay at community
∎ 22. Participates in any form of student assessment
∎ 23. Orients staff & students to the clinical sites with fellow instructors; observes students' interactions with clients and identifies gaps in quality service delivery; evaluates students' competencies during service delivery.
∎ 24. Checks checklists/logbooks filled in by students and checked by the Trainers/Instructors, reviews the clinical learning at the end of each shift and assists students in reflective practice in line with learning objectives
∎ 25. Actively Participate of all type of indoor and outdoor activities: Pop Up, Open School etc.
∎ 26. support supervisor: for preparing monthly & quarterly report, student enrolment, BNMC related work

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ Should have 3-5 years clinical experience & Teaching experience, leading team, maintain quality of training, report writing, prepare schedule for classroom teaching & hospital duty roster. Teaching experience preferred. HBB, KMC, ToT, Training on Gender, SRHR training required.

Salary:
∎ Around Tk. 42,500 per month gross.
