Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Determine the cost of products by analyzing goods, labor, transport and overhead costs.
∎ Conduct standard and actual costing calculations for products.
∎ Maintain and update costing models based on market trends and company strategies.
∎ Perform variance analysis (standard vs. actual cost) to identify discrepancies and suggest corrective actions.
∎ Assist in the preparation of cost budgets and forecasting future costs.
∎ Provide cost-related data for business decision-making and financial planning.
∎ Ensure accurate valuation of inventory, monitor material usage efficiency and identify areas for cost savings.
∎ Collaborate with the procurement team to evaluate supplier pricing and optimize sourcing.
∎ Work with production, supply chain, and finance teams to enhance cost efficiency.
∎ Identify opportunities for cost-saving initiatives.
∎ Prepare and present cost reports for management.
∎ Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards related to cost accounting.
∎ Support internal and external audits by providing cost-related data.
∎ Maintain and update costing data in system, ensure accuracy in cost records and reports.
∎ Job Context:
∎ We are looking for a COSTING & REPORTING OFFICER who must completed course/degree on Cost & Management Accounting from ICMAB or any other reputed institution. Having 2-3 years’ working experience dedicatedly in COSTING section in a reputed organization under Finance & Accounts department will get priority. Vintage Engineering Limited is an agricultural, industrial machineries and various hand & power tools’ import based company under GETCO Group.
∎ Job Responsibilities:
∎ 1. Cost Calculation & Analysis:
