Educational Requirements:

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Coordinator - MIS acts as the focal person to deliver information management systems and services along with operations of other ICT applications for monitoring, evaluation and research, and data management for diverse grants/projects under SCI's Rohingya Response Child Protection in Emergencies (CPiE) programs.
∎ S/he is primarily responsible to manage and coordinate the collection of data based on various IMS and CPiE templates while ensuring effective operations aligned with ICT strategies and principles.
∎ S/he maintains regular coordination and communication with field-based CP team members and works closely with CP Project Managers, Officers, Program Managers, Advisors and Specialists while collaborating with the MEAL team and more specifically, with the MEAL Officer(s) assigned for rendering dedicated support to CPiE program.
∎ The Coordinator- MIS directly manages MIS Officers and MIS Assistants as well as assists in staff capacity strengthening in relation with MIS, and leads in the case study preparation, all lessons and learnings compilation, and reporting of CPiE's data operations.
∎ The Coordinator - MIS is required to attend internal and external meetings and workshops related to CP data management and data protection systems.
∎ The role player proactively leads in the preparation of various monthly and quarterly reports as per the need of SCI and donor, including program activities presentation to donor/visitors as and when required.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 05 years of information systems management experience, preferably in humanitarian response and/or emergency contexts
∎ Preference will be given to demonstrated working experience in Child Protection Program
∎ Knowledge of information management, database management, data operations, data analysis, and report generation
∎ Knowledge of humanitarian and donor compliances, humanitarian response operation modalities and child friendly methods would be an asset
∎ Excellent analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative data analysis
∎ Advanced IT skills with strong command on MS Office, particularly in Excel and PowerBi
∎ Enthusiasm, motivation, self-confidence, and a proactive approach to problem solving
∎ Fluency in written and spoken Bangla, and ability to converse in the Chittagong dialect
