∎ Chartered Accountancy Course Completed along with Masters in Accounting or Finance from any recognized public university. Other Accounting Professional course partly qualified individual with required experience can also apply.
∎ Skills Required: Analytical Skill, Budgets, Communication skills, Leadership, Problem Solving, Tax and VAT, Very good skill in Excel

Job Context:
∎ Nari Uddug Kendra (NUK) is a national non-government wormen`s organization, mandated to promote gender equality, human rights and fostering personal and political empowerment of women and girls in Bangladesh. Nari Uddug Kendra (NUK) operating an independent Kishoreganj Eye Hospital (KEH), Agaroshindur Sufia Aftab Community Hospital, NUK Medical Institute (NUKMI), the Micro-Credit Programme, health based donor projects with garments workers.
∎ Currently, Nari Uddug Kendra (NUK) is seeking applications for Coordinator-Finance position for its Head Office. The position will be based in Head Office, Dhaka.

∎ The Coordinator-Finance is the mid senior level and departmental lead position, is overall responsible for ensuring financial policy review and update, organizational Financial Accounting activities, annual budget, internal control, documentation and all periodical including annual financial reporting of Nari Uddug Kendra (NUK) following organizational policy and procedure. He/She also being responsible to ensure organizational financial policy review, update regularly and keep in practice.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Review of financial system and procedures of the organization and upgrade them accordingly;
∎ Plan and control overall accounts related matters of the organization including yearly plan and other related financial aspects of the organization;
∎ Assist, and supervise and train the financial staff to prepare cash flow, fund requirements, monitoring the trends of fund requirements flow with view to assist management for decision making purpose;
∎ Supervise and guide NUK's field projects accounts operational management and reporting and assist the accounts staff to prepare all kinds of periodical financial statements;
∎ Assist and provide necessary guidance to accounts of Kishoreganj Eye Hospital (KEH), Agaroshindur Sufia Aftab Community Hospital, Micro-Credit Programme, NUK Medical Institute in maintaining all books of accounts and all bank accounts including vouchers of the daily transactions, cashbook, ledger and other related records;
∎ Ensuring to prepare Monthly, Quarterly and Organizational annual budget including the all components of expenses and income sources for the Eye Hospital, NUK Medical Institute in time;
∎ Assist and follow up that respective project/unit heads are prepare their monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and yearly budget within the time frame for internal expenditure;
∎ Ensure all financial statement and consolidated statement of different projects to show and understand the expenditure/income of different IGA units;
∎ Ensure organizational all tax & vat are submit to relevant government department in time and collect certificate;
∎ Plan and Initiate all organizational and all donor funded projects audits are take place in timely manner;
∎ Ensure organizational stock, fixed asset management and inventory is in right track and is in regular;
∎ Ensure organizational all periodical financial report including annual report and submit to senior management in timely manner;
∎ To manage finance & accounts staffs performance appraisal;
∎ As a member of the Finance team to work collaboratively with other teams, departments, units and programs to ensure
∎ Finance best practice is understood, captured, promoted and disseminated;
∎ Willingness to frequent field visits.
