∎ Able to adhering and explanation to patients quarries.
∎ Have good interpersonal skill and professional and humanitarian attitude.
∎ Proven problem solving skill
∎ Ability to work under work pressure
∎ Experience Requirements
∎ Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in cataract surgery especially in PHACO and patient consultation. Experience in other eye surgeries will be added advantage/ will be preferred.
∎ Additional Requirements

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Performing high quality surgery (SICS/PHACO) for the identified cataract patients
∎ Managing the Eye Patients in Outpatient Department of the Hospital.
∎ Identify Surgery patients as required
∎ Provide quality medical care & patients’ satisfaction both for Base Hospital and camp.
∎ Managing the post-operative cases and discharge rounds.
∎ Identifying the problem cases and ensuring appropriate management.
∎ Regularly prepare and submit reports to respective department head

Currently, NUK is operating 03 Eye hospitals in Bangladesh for eradicating the avoidable blindness from Bangladesh and as well as to meet up the VISION-2020 goal of WHO. Now, NUK is seeking applications for Eye Consultant & Phaco Surgeon (Full Time) positon for its Kishoreganj Eye Hospital, Kishoreganj.
∎ The Eye Consultant & PHACO Surgeon (Full Time) is responsible for ensuring eye surgery and patient consultation with friendly customer care, following organizational policy and procedures in line with the best practice for hospitals.
∎ Job Responsibilities:
∎ Performing high quality surgery (SICS/PHACO) for the identified cataract patients
