Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in MBA
∎ ACCA/ CA /CMA program
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Perform critical inventory tasks to ensure the correct amount of items are in stock
∎ Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory (OTB), including transfers and cycle counts
∎ Review documentation and monitor product codes to search for discrepancies; troubleshoot quantity discrepancies between stock and records
∎ Prepare, generate, and file financial inventory reports (OTB); review reports monthly with management.
∎ Perform inventory needs from a financial perspective, including revenue and margin, retailers gain and ensure the organization will not overspend merchandising budgets.
∎ Improve inventory flexibility
∎ Ensure better financial control and boost customer satisfaction
∎ Deliver OTB planning and management, defining optimal volumes to provided channel ranges. Drive in-season trading decisions to meet store and stock requirements.
∎ Developing financial strategy for NRS Business.
∎ Improving efficiencies and reducing costs across the business
∎ Debt management and collection
∎ Manage & monitor financial accounting for Non-Retail Sales Division
∎ Provide analytical support to the Head - NRSD and continually improve financial systems and data.
∎ Work with the non - retail team to produce robust budgets and forecasts for all sales and cost areas along with identifying risks and opportunity areas to the forecasts.
∎ Present the monthly forecasting figures to the non - retail team.
∎ Provide analytical support to the Vertical and Business Heads and continually improve financial systems and data.
∎ Effectively plan cash flow needs to be based on assumptions made.
∎ Provide weekly performance highlighting trends and opportunities to assist in improving profits, margins, and reducing costs.
∎ Liaison with the central accounting team on key areas of financial control, e.g. collation of accruals on behalf of Business
∎ Ensures all weekly/periodic data is collected and imputed and period end numbers produced by central accounting are reviewed
∎ To ensure availability of funds through monitoring of cash flow of forecast and to take corrective measures to meet shortfalls.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Proven working experience as a Controller
∎ 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
∎ OTB management and annual business plan-NRS
∎ Ability to operate open-to-buy planning software
Salary: Negotiable
