Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, or a related field.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 1 to 2 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct environmental assessments, including site visits, data collection, and analysis to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
∎ Develop environmental management plans to minimize negative impacts and promote sustainable practices.
∎ Provide recommendations and strategies for environmental compliance and risk mitigation.
∎ Advise clients on sustainable practices and on environmental regulations and assist in obtaining necessary permits and approvals.
∎ Attain client meetings and effective communication to meet client's requirements.
∎ Stay up to date with relevant environmental laws, regulations, and industry trends.
∎ Support for preparation of Expression of Interest (EOI) and Project Proposal (PP) for local and international projects.
∎ Communication with international and local consultants/experts and firms for project engagement and network development.
∎ Reporting to the head of department/project manager for effective project implementation.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Proven experience working as an Environmental Consultant or in a similar role is preferred.
∎ In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations, policies, and procedures.
∎ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
∎ Excellent writing, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
∎ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
∎ Proficient in using environmental assessment tools and software.
∎ Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
∎ Should be workable under pressure and responsibility, and motivated to frequent field visits for implementation of projects.
∎ At least 1-2 years of experience in the related field for the "Assistant Consultant" position. 5 years of relevant experience for the position of "Consultant".
Salary:
∎ Remuneration ranges from BDT 420,000 to BDT 750,000 per annum based on the best selected and deserved candidate(s) and evaluation through recruitment examination.
