Additional Requirements:
Strong knowledge of carbon accounting and reporting standards.
Experience with renewable energy projects, energy efficiency measures, and environmental engineering.
Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills.
Proven track record of developing and implementing sustainability strategies.
Strong communication and leadership abilities.
Experience in business development and project management.
Knowledge of lifecycle assessment and carbon sequestration techniques.
Familiarity with waste management and circular economy principles.
Responsibilities & Context:
Lead climate change and decarbonization initiatives, including Net-zero strategies, energy efficiency, renewable energy integration, carbon markets (offset/ trading, CCUS), ESG reporting, and circular economy practices.
Provide expertise on decarbonization strategies, governance, regulatory frameworks, GHG assessments (GHG Protocol, CDM), and energy management, while advising on sustainability frameworks (GRI, SASB, CDP, TCFD).
Manage and mentor teams, conduct capacity-building initiatives, and provide training and workshops on climate change, decarbonization, and emerging technologies.
Develop and implement tailored climate strategies for industries, conduct energy/resource audits, life cycle assessments, and promote water stewardship and sustainable energy solutions.
Oversee climate and carbon financing projects, prepare technical proposals, and collaborate with stakeholders to adopt innovative and sustainable practices aligned with global trends.
