Responsibilities & Context:
Evaluate laboratory data in hematology, microbiology, clinical chemistry, and molecular pathology to provide accurate diagnostic reports.
Collaborate with physicians and surgeons, offering expert interpretation to guide treatment decisions.
Ensure high-quality standards (QC/QA) and compliance with regulatory (e.g., NABL, CAP) guidelines.
Oversee technical staff (pathology technicians) and laboratory operations to ensure accuracy and timely reporting
Verify complex or abnormal lab results to ensure accuracy before final reporting.
