∎ Identify and analyze relevant policies, regulations, and funding mechanisms related to CDRFI in the coastal context.
∎ Assess the needs, vulnerabilities, and capacities of coastal communities, particularly women and marginalized groups, regarding climate and disaster risk management.
∎ Identify and evaluate potential pro-poor, gender-responsive, and human rights-based CDRFI mechanisms suitable for the coastal region of Bangladesh.

∎ An Organization for Socio-Economic Development (AOSED), in partnership with CARE Bangladesh, is implementing the "Multi Actor Partnerships on Climate and Disaster Risk Finance and Insurance (MAP CDRFI)" project. This project aims to strengthen the resilience of vulnerable coastal communities in Bangladesh by developing innovative and inclusive CDRFI mechanisms.

∎ Scope of work:
∎ We are seeking a qualified expert to conduct a scoping study on pro-poor, gender-responsive, and human rights-based CDRFI mechanisms in the coastal region of Bangladesh. This study will inform the design and implementation of effective CDRFI solutions that address the specific needs and vulnerabilities of coastal communities, particularly women and marginalized groups.
