Education:

At least Bachelor’s degree from any discipline

• Experience in community mobilization in the refugee camps and Host community

• Knowledge of the Shelter and WASH sectors in the humanitarian context.

• Ability to propose, create and run community activities.

• Experience in community mobilization and conducting outreach activities.

• Good communication and social skills to establish relationships with different communities.

• Ability to work in team and co-run activities.

• Computer skills (MS Office) can be an asset.

• Strong organizational and reporting skills.

• Strongly motivated by humanitarian work.

• Knowledge of Core Humanitarian Standard and Community risk assessment

• Dynamic, creative, positive, flexible and good team player.

• Good experience in data collection and data entry.

• Good experience in communication with communities and awareness campaign.

The Community Mobilizer is responsible for assisting the project team in implementing Habitat For Humanity Bangladesh (HFHB) projects through mobilizing the communities benefiting from HFHB assistance by conducting assessments, consultations, workshops, trainings and other activities that engage communities. The candidate will participate in the mapping exercises and assessments aiming to identify the locations and needs of vulnerable populations in Ukhiya/Dhaka/other districts. S/he will also provide support to Project Manager in the monitoring of the Shelter and WASH activities in the Camps and host communities.
