Job Context:

∎ ICCO Cooperation is a leading INGO working for securing sustainable livelihoods, justice & dignity for all in Bangladesh since 1972. After Rohingya influx in August 2017, ICCO started implementing number of projects for responding Rohingya emergency in the camps setting, as well development for the local communities in Cox`s Bazar district. Currently, there is a project called `Self-reliance` with a component of `skills development for the person with disabilities`. This component will be implemented with thedisabled Rohingya people living in different camps in UkhiyaUpazila. To provide technical support and supervision of implementation the component, we are looking for a skilled and ambitious professional for the position of Supervisor to join in our Ukhiya team.
∎ Working Conditions:
∎ Working days from Sunday to Thursday with 40 hours per week. This position may be required to work some extra hours to meet deadline as and when required.
∎ Have to follow ICCO HR, Admin and Finance related policy.
∎ Duration of contract till December 2021 with possibilities of extension depending on fund availability and performance.
∎ Nature of Job: Full time
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Overall Responsibilities:
∎ The role of the CMs will be to facilitate the project activities to develop capacity of the person with disabilities living in different camps in Ukhiya. This includes of beneficiary selection, assist technical partners in training need assessment for the disabled & elderly person on technical skills suitable for IGAs/ enterprise in the camp context,assist in organizing and facilitation of the training sessions, assist supervisor in maintaining liaison and coordination with other stakeholders and work with PMEL for data collection and reporting
∎ Key Responsibilities
∎ Selection of project beneficiaries following given guideline and criteria
∎ Assist Technical Partner for undertaking training need assessment with project beneficiaries
∎ Facilitate project activities with the participants in the communities
∎ Assist the supervisor in organizing consultationmeeting with the stakeholders, spots selection and setting up training centers in the camps for beneficiary'sskill development training
∎ Mobilize and Organize training sessions for the targeted beneficiaries
∎ Assist the team in transferring IGA-asset to the beneficiary in the field
∎ Assist the team in selecting and distributing assistive devices to the disabled person appropriately
∎ Liaison and coordination with other stakeholders working in respective camps.
∎ Assist supervisor in collecting different data and preparing project reports.
∎ Attend meetings/ events organized externally and represent the project and ICCO properly
∎ Prepare and submit plan, report weekly/ monthly as required
∎ Other duties and responsibilities in the project assigned by the supervisor.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience in working in projectsdeveloping the person with disabilities
∎ Work experience in emergency response project/ Rohingya camps will be given preference.
∎ Have experience in skill development works/ handicraft sector.
∎ Ability to understand and speak the local Chittagong language
∎ Willing to work in Rohingya camps in Ukhiya/Teknaf.
Salary:
∎ Competitive salary package depending on education and experience.
