∎ Project Description
∎ The mass repatriation of hundreds of thousands of Rohingya to Myanmar is unlikely in the foreseeable future. To address severe overcrowding in the Cox`s Bazar refugee camps, in December 2020, the government of Bangladesh began relocating Rohingya families to Bhasan Char, a remote island in the Bay of Bengal. The overall goal of this project is to reduce unintended pregnancies and improve Rohingya women`s and adolescents` access to high-quality SRH services in Bangladesh. The primary focus will be on increasing access to modern contraceptive care to meet the high demand for this service-over 86% of SRH services provided in the camps to date have been for contraceptive care. However, trainings, technical assistance, and support to facilities, healthcare providers, and communities will also include capacity building and support related to the provision of safe, high-quality MR and PAC.
∎ Background and purpose of the assignment
∎ Rohingya Refugee in Bangladesh do not have any knowledge regarding family planning methods and usually they do not come for family planning services. Some of them currently receive family planning services as a complementary with other services e.g. take family planning methods, after MR/PAC/Delivery or provider give them methods while they come for ANC or other services. But now emergency persist long and family planning is become an essential service considering the situation of Rohingya Population. Some Rohingya women are coming for Post Abortion Care (PAC) which is a result for miscarriage, and which is a cause of low knowledge about reproductive health.
∎ Purpose of the work
∎ Community Mobilizer will responsible to aware Rohingya population regarding safe Family Planning, MR and PAC services. Field Facilitator will be responsible for household visit of one selected camp under one center/facility. She/he will do the house hold visit and educate and motivate the Rohingya Female and male reproductive age and adolescent family members and the other Volunteers also who are working for other NGOs in the community.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Visit Rohingya women to aware and motivate them by sharing messages about MR&PAC and FP information.
∎ Conduct Interpersonal Communication session with NGOs with Rohingya women
∎ Use Flipchart during the household visit while communicate with the Rohingya women
∎ Establish linkage between Rohingya community and the respective facilities for which they are responsible.
∎ Communicate with other NGOs volunteer/ community health workers, educate them regarding Menstrual Regulation (MR) & Post Abortion Care (PAC) and Family Planning, motivate them to provide this information to the Rohingya Women.
∎ Field Facilitator will provide her respective facilities name, provider name and contact number to the other NGOs volunteers/community health workers for referral.
∎ Visit pharmacies and motivate them to send MR&PAC clients to the respective facilities under they work.
∎ Ensure the reporting to the respective supervisor.

∎ Having interest to work for Rohingya Refugees in Bangladesh and familiar with local language.
∎ Having interest work for youth in a youth friendly manner with utmost privacy & confidentiality
∎ Having strong client oriented service approach with personal commitment.
∎ Maintain safe and clean working environment and encourage others to do the same.
∎ Having good communication and interpersonal skills and are able to maintain liaison and coordination with other team members.
∎ Experience in adolescent reproductive health interventions a significant plus.

∎ BDT 14000 (Consolidated)
