Responsibilities & Context:
∎ An opportunity has arisen within the Press & Communication Unit team to join us as Communications Manager (Digital and Creative) at the British High Commission Dhaka. The successful applicant will lead the Digital and Creative Team that sits within the Press and Communications Unit (PCU) of the British High Commission Dhaka. PCU is responsible for the UK Government’s external communications in Bangladesh, and for supporting delivering of the UK Government’s strategic priorities in Bangladesh and in the region. Your team is responsible for all digital output and content production for the British High Commission, including managing the High Commission’s social media channels and website. Working with the Head and Deputy Head of Communications, you will be responsible for establishing the culture of the Communications Unit and for helping to set the team’s strategic direction on digital platforms. The incumbent must also have a positive, friendly, can-do attitude and be a team player.
