Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters degree in any discipline
∎ Masters in Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, International Relation or any relevant discipline preferred.
∎ Additional Master's Degree in Public Health will be considered as additional attributes.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 7 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for Communication Program development and implementation.
∎ Monitor and evaluate the appropriate and timely dissemination of advocacy and communication materials to target audiences, and participate in the evaluation of their impact;
∎ Planning, scripting, technical oversight during Profile Video and spot video development;
∎ Review Training Curriculum, Modules and facilitate trainings for Master Trainers;
∎ Develop Communication and Community Mobilization Strategy for field workers;
∎ Develop appropriate Communication and Media Package for implementing partners, stakeholders;
∎ Prepare knowledge management, communication products, best practices and success stories;
∎ Planning and coordinating with different social media, blog, micro-blog, video blog, social and podcast networks with studies, facts, data and information on malnutrition prevention;
∎ Planning and implementing social media campaign for developing awareness about pandemic, communicable diseases and infection prevention through diversified online communities and different forums;
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the program's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 years professional experience in communication management, documentation, and program learning
∎ Working experiences with USAID, UN and/or other International Organizations are preferred.
∎ Familiarity with public sector, preferably Ministry of Health and Family Welfare
∎ Experience in building capacity of a diverse team in knowledge sharing, program monitoring and documentation
∎ Good oral and written communication skills in both English & Bengali.
∎ Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary and multicultural group of colleagues and external stakeholders.
∎ Self-motivated and able to work well with minimal supervision and under pressure.
∎ Creative, flexible, and resourceful and able to cope with logistical challenges.
∎ Ability to travel anywhere within Bangladesh at a short notice.
