Masters in any discipline from well reputed Institute. Candidates with certification in Supply Chain Management or Industrial Management will be given preference.

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in-depth understanding of HS Codes, L/C operations, and customs regulations
  • Strong knowledge of import procedures and relevant government compliance requirements
  • Excellent coordination, communication, and negotiation skills
  • High attention to detail with strong documentation and record management abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ERP/commercial software
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Familiarity with industry-specific trade rules and practices is an added advantage


Responsibilities & Context:

Company Name: Confidence Cement Dhaka Limited

Job Location: Danga Bazar, Palash, Narsingdi

  • Prepare and process all import-related documents including PI, LC Opening, LCAF, Insurance Cover Note, and Insurance Policy
  • Liaise with banks, insurance companies, customs, C&F agents, shipping lines, surveyors, and lighter vessel service providers to ensure timely clearance and delivery of imported goods
  • Coordinate with banks for handling Letters of Credit (LC) and other related commercial transactions
  • Ensure all import and commercial activities comply with Bangladesh’s customs, VAT, tax, and other relevant government regulations
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of trade laws, customs regulations, duty structures, and import/export incentives
  • Maintain and update all import-related documents such as IRC, BIN, TIN, and Chamber of Commerce Certificates
  • Verify and confirm HS codes and other details on proforma invoices before processing
  • Keep accurate records and prepare periodic reports on all commercial and import-related activities
  • Manage and organize both digital and physical archives of all commercial documents
  • Maintain regular communication and coordination with C&F agents, surveyors, lighter vessel providers, insurance companies, accounts department, and stores
  • Provide commercial support and collaborate with other departments for smooth business operations and process improvements
