Job Responsibilities:
∎ Planning and implementation-
∎ Ensure monthly Quality Visit to the DIC/Outlets as per plan so that these are completed in time
∎ Develop a checklist to monitor the services delivered
∎ Ensure availability of treatment protocol
∎ Ensure adequate supply of medicines and kits
∎ Assist Specialist - Clinical Services in facilitating training related to clinical services
∎ Ensure Quality of Care (QoC) services
∎ STI, HTS and general health Service Delivery:
∎ Ensure High quality of STI services delivered to the FSW at each DIC/Outlets.
∎ Ensure supply of adequate medicines at DIC/outlet level and arrange inter-change as required
∎ Ensure that the medicines/kits are kept in the store in a proper way having proper ventilation
∎ Ensure that physical examinations are made by the SACMOs as required
∎ Ensure implementation of proper Infection Prevention procedure in all DIC/Outlets.
∎ Ensure that medical prescriptions are properly written by the SACMOs with history and present conditions and drugs are properly given
∎ Ensure DOTs are provided at DIC/Outlets
∎ Ensure condoms are provided to STI patients and demonstration is made for proper use
∎ Ensure HTS service at DIC/outlet level and outreach
∎ Assist SACMOs in developing proper planning of clinical services including satellites
∎ Ensure general health services are provided to the patients
∎ Supervise the clinical set up
∎ Guide the DIC/Outlet Manager and SCAMOs to set up the clinic like patient bed, stand light, maintain privacy, etc.
∎ Ensure the clinical equipment are in operation and properly used
∎ Ensure that clinic has adequate lighting facilities
∎ Ensure that running water supply is available
∎ Ensure use of gloves during physical examination
∎ Check the stock of medicines, kits, condom and lubricants and report any under and over stock
∎ Check the expiry of medicines and take proper actions id required
∎ Ensure incineration of medical waste
∎ Ensure ethical issues are maintained like confidentiality, non-discrimination attitude towards FSW and restore respect and dignity of patients
∎ Ensure refer to complicated patients to govt. health facilities
∎ Maintenance of clinical records and reports
∎ Ensure that clinical reports like patent health cards, patient's registers are duly maintained
∎ Ensure reporting formats are duly maintained by the SACMOs
∎ Ensure that weekly/monthly reports are duly prepared and forward to him for compilation
∎ Reporting-
∎ Assist Specialist - Clinical Services in develop all sorts of clinical reports
∎ Ensure proper and timely submission of reports of clinic visits.
∎ Share the findings of clinic visit to Specialist - Clinical Services and Deputy Team Leader and DCE, Light House
∎ Also provide written feedback to SACMO and DIC/Outlet Managers
∎ Capacity Building of DICs clinical staff-
∎ Be completely familiar with the concepts of quality issues and also on STI/HIV/AIDS and remain updated on changing concepts/ideas in this area.
∎ Collect new information on the topics of quality from journals, Internets and from other organizations and disseminate it to the service providers and trainers through sending the photocopies to them and also during training.
∎ Identify training needs and skill deficiencies of the service providers during clinical audits.
∎ Give emphasis to improve the attitude of service providers towards clients through discussions, orientation and monitoring.
∎ Orientation of newly recruited service providers on STI, IP, and other services as and when required.
∎ Provide on the job training of the service provider during a technical audit if required.
∎ Provide support as a trainer as and when required.

∎ Age 31 to 45 years
