Clinical & Technical Support
To meet Clinical Audiologists and Cochlear Implant Surgeons at hospitals across the country.
Provide intraoperative support during cochlear implant surgeries, ensuring same-day device registration.
Deliver comprehensive audiological services, including device programming, mapping, and troubleshooting using Cochlear’s technology.
Educate patients and caregivers on device usage, maintenance, and auditory rehabilitation through individual and group sessions.
Prepare and monitor therapy plans for recipients, submitting monthly progress reports to the Head of Sales.
Drive early intervention with candidates choosing cochlear implants & with professionals treating pediatric candidates for hearing loss.
Operational & Collaborative Duties
Maintain flexibility to meet the operational needs of the Cochlear Implant Centre.
Collaborate with ENT specialists, surgeons, and technical staff to ensure high-quality pre- and post-operative care.
Conduct audiology and habilitation workshops to support professional development and patient outcomes.
Visit at least one Cochlear recipient weekly (home/clinic) to assess challenges and document findings in the weekly report.
Collaborate with key private as well as government stakeholders to drive key Cochlear messaging and the benefits of Cochlear’s devices.
Provide market intelligence and competitive information, which can be utilized in developing effective ways to approach current and potential customers.
Identify new clinical partners to support strategic initiatives.
Deliver on Customer Experience
Build a strong relationship with the recipients such that one becomes their trusted advisor.
Support recipients to understand the benefits of better technologies and bilateral hearing.
Conduct events & activities for recipients.
Actively work with recipients to grow and build on advocacy for Cochlear. Collaborate with Health Care Professionals (HCPs) to develop and improve the necessary infrastructure to support and build advocacy in the region.
Administrative & Reporting
Submit daily activity updates and weekly summary reports to the Head of Sales.
Maintain accurate records of patient progress, treatment plans, and device configurations. Submit a monthly progress report of each recipient.
Participate in audits, quality control checks, and inventory management of audiological equipment.
Learning & Development
Stay updated on Cochlear’s devices, software, systems, and clinical protocols.
Engage in continuous learning to enhance service delivery and clinical expertise.
Professional Standards
Uphold confidentiality, professionalism, and medical ethics in all interactions.
Perform additional duties related to audiology as assigned by GMCL management.
Work safely, complying with all safety procedures, rules, and instructions, and reporting workplace hazards, incidents, or injuries to the manager.
Contribute ideas on systems and process methods to improve deliverables.
