Additional Requirements:
∎ Previous management-level experience on Trade Facilitation, Business Enabling Environment, or related projects is required.
∎ Previous USAID DCOP or COP experience is highly preferred
∎ Fluent English language ability required
∎ Previous experience in Bangladesh or South Asia is a plus.
∎ Bangladeshi nationals are welcome to apply

Requirements:

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Improving Trade Facilitation;
∎ Improving Business Enabling Environment; and
∎ Promoting Best Practices in Economic Growth Activities
∎ Serve as primary liaison and point-of-contact with the Contractors Officers Representative (COR) appointed by the USAID Bangladesh Contract Officer
∎ Manage and mentor the Deputy Chief of Party, Operations Director, and Component Leads
∎ Manage and oversee the work activities across the project, including identifying needs and drafting scopes of work
∎ Edit reports and deliverables
∎ Other duties as requested
∎ Background
∎ IDG is seeking candidates for Chief of Party with demonstrated experience managing activities related to improving trade and Business Enabling Environment. Areas of expertise would include:
∎ Improving Trade Facilitation;
∎ Improving Business Enabling Environment; and
∎ Promoting Best Practices in Economic Growth Activities
∎ This includes facilitating an improved policy environment to promote sustainable economic growth and prosperity, improved regional economic cooperation, sound management of institutions, and good governance while also expanding markets for U.S. goods and services.
∎ This activity will also address efficiency and transparency in the business enabling environment and the logistics sector.
∎ Illustrative Tasks
∎ The Chief of Party may be responsible for the following tasks:
∎ Serve as primary liaison and point-of-contact with the Contractors Officers Representative (COR) appointed by the USAID Bangladesh Contract Officer
