MBBS from a recognized medical institution and valid BMDC registration.
Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health/Public Health/Healthcare Administration preferred.
Postgraduate qualifications such as FCPS (Fellowship of the College of Physicians and Surgeons), MD (Doctor of Medicine), or FRCS (Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons) will be an added advantage,

Additional Requirements: Sound knowledge of HR compliance, BGMEA and Accord/Alliance standards, labor health law, and international audit standards in RMG.
Strategic leadership and crisis management in factory health environments.
Deep understanding of compliance, audit, and reporting systems for multinational textile/RMG clients.
Strong communication and team building capabilities, cross-cultural sensitivity, and ethics.
Ability to analyze health data, write reports, and present solutions to executive management.
Responsibilities & Context: - Lead, develop, and manage an integrated medical services unit across the group’s garment and textile factories, including physicians, paramedics, and clinic staff.
- Design, implement, and monitor pre-employment medical testing protocols for all management and non-management employees as an essential part of the recruitment process. Ensure that medical fitness is determined prior to onboarding, following DBL Group’s HR policy and compliance with both national labor laws and buyer requirements.
- Implement preventive health protocols aligned with local labor law, BGMEA, Accord/Alliance, and international compliance requirements.
- Oversee operation and compliance of factory clinics, including first-aid, occupational injury response, routine health checks, and controls for infectious disease outbreaks.
- Advise management on risk areas for occupational health, ergonomics, nutrition, and worker wellness, providing regular trend analysis and health metrics reporting.
- Coordinate emergency response across units and maintain liaisons with local healthcare providers and referral services in Gazipur.
- Lead the procurement and safe inventory management of medicines, vaccines, and medical supplies.
- Supervise medical record-keeping for audit and compliance, including buyer audits and government inspections.
- Train all medical and non-medical staff on workplace health, hygiene, and safety best practices, including periodic refreshers related to Bangladesh RMG sector needs.
- Advise HR on policies related to sick leave, disability, occupational injury reporting, and health insurance claims resolution.
- Regularly update management and corporate HQ with insights, risk assessments, and improvement strategies.
