Education:
∎ Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or accounting is mandatory.
∎ Must have ACCA / CMA / FCA or Equivalent Professional Degree.
∎ The candidate should have at least 15 (ten) years' practical experience in a reputed organization in a financial management role, with at least 05 (three) years' experience as senior management role in Accounting or Tax Management related activities.
∎ Skills: Expertise in financial planning, compliance, and governance.

∎ A candidate bearing professional qualification of Chartered Accountancy (FCA) or equivalent degree will be preferable.
∎ Should have knowledge in Corporate Governance and Corporate Affairs in accordance with applicable laws / regulations in Bangladesh.
∎ Should be knowledgeable in International Financial Reporting Standards, International Accounting Standards, The Companies Act, The Banking Companies Act, Income Tax Ordinance, VAT Act, Laws, regulations & guidelines of Bangladesh Bank and Bangladesh Securities & exchange Commission and other related laws.
∎ Must have good expertise on Microsoft Office as well as experience of handling core accounting system and related business intelligence.
∎ Proficiency in advanced financial software, ERP systems, and analytics tools to enhance financial reporting and decision-making.
∎ Unquestioned commitment to integrity and ethical decision-making.
∎ Well conversant with modern payment and collection systems.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop and execute financial strategies to achieve the school’s long-term goals and objectives.
∎ Conduct long-term financial planning and risk assessments to ensure the school’s financial stability.
∎ Oversee the preparation of the school’s annual budget and periodic financial forecasts.
∎ Monitor budget performance, identify variances, and implement corrective measures as needed.
∎ Ensure the timely preparation and accuracy of financial statements, ensuring compliance with local regulatory and educational standards.
∎ Manage tax filings, audits, and all necessary financial disclosures in adherence to legal requirements.
∎ Maintain operational liquidity and oversee cash flow management to support the school’s activities.
∎ Implement strategies to mitigate financial risks and manage debt and equity effectively.
∎ Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to ensure optimal performance and professional growth.
∎ Provide insightful financial analysis and advice to the CEO and Board of Directors to support decision-making.
∎ Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, stakeholders, and external financial partners.
∎ Present financial performance and forecasts to the Board and external stakeholders, strengthening the school’s financial reputation.
∎ Streamline financial operations and implement cost-saving measures to optimize the use of resources.
∎ Optimize procurement processes and negotiate effectively with vendors to secure favorable terms.
∎ Evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships that may enhance the school’s financial position.
∎ Uphold high standards of financial governance and ethical practices across all financial operations.
