Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the laboratory
∎ Assist the Faculty Member in the Chemistry lab for conducting lab classes of O & A level
∎ Set up required apparatus - equipment, chemicals, and supplies for Lab Classes under the guidance of Teacher
∎ Keep ready Chemistry lab with required instruction for conducting Lab classes, Mocks, Examinations of O & A level
∎ Keep attendance record and assist teachers in supervising lab activities
∎ Ensure a safe work environment by complying with regulations for lab safety and handling hazardous materials following only proper formal procedures
∎ Maintain cleanliness of the lab and its equipment using appropriate solvents
∎ Ensure discipline in the lab
∎ Oversee and maintain the inventory of lab equipment, supplies, including ordering, handling, and shelving under the direction of the teachers
∎ Perform other assigned administrative, comparable, or transient duties, which are within the area of knowledge and skills required by this job description.
