∎ Plan and prepare nutritionally balanced and hygienic meals following hospital dietary requirements.
∎ Ensure all meals meet patient-specific dietary restrictions and doctor/dietitian recommendations.
∎ Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring efficient food preparation and service.
∎ Maintain high food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with hospital and health regulations.
∎ Monitor and manage kitchen inventory, procurement, and cost control to minimize waste.
∎ Develop and update menu plans for patients, staff, and visitors in consultation with dietitians.
∎ Train and guide kitchen and food service personnel to maintain quality standards.
∎ Ensure timely and accurate meal distribution, particularly for in-patient services (IPD).
∎ Coordinate with hospital administration and F&B supervisors for seamless meal service operations.
∎ Handle special dietary requests and ensure food presentation and portioning are consistent.
