Job Context:
∎ Development Initiative for Social Advancement (DISA) is a national NGO - working in Bangladesh since 1993 for the socio-economic development of the underprivileged women and children. DISA has a - 10 storied modern training premises at Mirpur, Dhaka with international standard. The training center is going to be launched very soonest. Now we are looking for a Catering Manager for our Training Center expert in preparing, providing and serving food for special events such as conferences, weddings, celebrations or large gathering etc.
∎ Job nature: Open ended position

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead the team of chefs and Catering Assistant
∎ Running the day-to-day catering operations and services in restaurant
∎ Planning menus in consultation with chefs /cooks
∎ Decorate restaurant/dining table for the guests and visitors
∎ Monitor the quality of the food and service provided
∎ Train, supervise and motivate chefs /cooks
∎ Organize the staff roster in consultation with line manager
∎ Ordering supplies
∎ Ensure that restaurant is performing well
∎ Maintain the stock and other relevant registers
∎ Ensure that health & safety regulations are strictly observed, recorded and maintained
∎ Any other tasks assigned by the authority

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Minimum 3 -5 years working experience in any reputed Training Institute /Hotel/Motel
∎ Working experience in overseas' hotel/restaurant will be added value
∎ Preference will be given to those who have formal training on food and beverage making from Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation (BPC) or from any standard hotel.
