Responsibilities & Context:

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and deposit company cash to/from banks as per authorized requirements.

• Deposit company cash and cheques into designated bank accounts and maintain proper supporting documents.

• Receive cash payments from customers, dealers and other parties and ensure proper documentation.

• Deposit and process government and utility bills through banks, including:

  • Electricity Bills

  • Gas Bills

  • Water/WASA Bills

  • Government Treasury Challan

  • Other government fees, duties and approved statutory payments.

• Make payments against approved company bills and expenses.

• Prepare and process Cash Requisitions based on operational requirements.

• Verify cash requisitions, supporting documents and necessary approvals before payment.

• Monitor daily cash balance, cash flow and cash requirements.

• Assist in cash budgeting and cash planning.

• Handle day-to-day cash operations efficiently and accurately.

• Maintain cash book, payment/receipt vouchers and other cash-related records.

• Perform daily cash reconciliation and report discrepancies to the concerned authority.

• Coordinate with Accounts, Finance, Banks, Government Offices and Utility Service Providers for cash and payment-related activities.

• Ensure safe custody and proper control of company cash.

• Perform other cash, banking and finance-related duties assigned by management.
