Job Context:
∎ Applicant can do this job on a contractual basis//Part-Time
∎ Must have care giver certification course
∎ Teachers Experience minimum 1/1.5 years. (Do not apply if you don`t have)
∎ Must have proper knowledge and teaching influence skill.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide timely, practical education on the physical and emotional aspects of caregiving.
∎ Help the caregiver learn to take care of themselves in order to preserve their ability to care for their loved one.
∎ Help caregivers manage both daily situations and long-range decisions.
∎ Provide an understanding of normal aging, as well as abnormal changes that need attention.
∎ Inform caregivers about current research and public policy concerning care of the aged.
∎ Coordinate with community resources to educate caregivers about specific conditions of diseases.
∎ Develop uniform intake procedures which identify and document caregiver needs. Oversee the development of documents and procedures necessary as outlined by funding sources.
∎ Conduct assessments of caregiver needs and identify the components of caregiver training to be provided with approval from the caregiver.
∎ Collaborate with community resources to reduce caregiver stress resulting from emotional, financial, physical and social limitations..
