Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Bangladesh Football Federation is seeking a competent Camera Operator to capture high quality and attractive images & videos for occasions, Meetings, Press meets, Matches & Events of BFF. BFF's Camera Operator will be an integral part of the mission to spread information and striking visuals to the world.
∎ As The BFF camera operator, we want you to be comfortable around expensive and delicate equipment as well as able to concentrate and attend to detail. If you're passionate about the job and can think of ways to add creativity to your work, we would like to meet you.
∎ Key Responsibilities:
∎ Work with the media department to determine all aspects of shots and videography.
∎ Capture live-action footage of sporting events, including games, matches, races, practices, and training sessions.
∎ Follow the flow of the game and anticipate key moments to ensure critical plays and highlights are captured effectively.
∎ Film interviews, player profiles, and behind-the-scenes content to provide insights into athletes' personalities, stories, and training regimens.
∎ Direct and coordinate interviews with athletes, coaches, and other stakeholders to capture compelling storytelling elements.
∎ Capture b-roll footage of athletes in action, training drills, team meetings, and other relevant activities to supplement interviews and profiles.
∎ Create highlight reels, game summaries, and analysis videos showcasing key plays, goals, runs, or moments from sporting events.
∎ Edit and compile footage to highlight athletes' skills, achievements, and contributions to their respective sports.
∎ Operate cameras and related equipment to capture video footage according to project requirements and creative direction.
∎ Set up and adjust camera settings, including aperture, shutter speed, ISO, focus, and white balance, to achieve desired visual effects.
∎ Maintain camera stability and smooth movement while shooting handheld or using stabilizing equipment such as tripods, gimbals, or sliders.
∎ Frame shots creatively to convey the intended message and capture the audience's attention.
∎ Consider composition principles such as framing, rule of thirds, leading lines, and perspective to create visually appealing shots.
∎ Experiment with different angles, perspectives, and camera movements to enhance storytelling and engagement.
∎ Collaborate with content creators, directors, and other team members to understand project objectives and creative vision.
∎ Ensure cameras and related equipment are properly maintained, including cleaning, charging batteries, and organizing accessories.
∎ Stay updated on advancements in camera technology and techniques to optimize workflow and quality.
∎ Transfer and organize raw footage for editing, ensuring efficient post-production workflow.
∎ Collaborate with Manager-Media and post-production team members to address any technical or creative challenges.
