Responsibilities & Context:
Ensure proper operation, calibration, and maintenance of all medical equipment and devices.
Troubleshoot, repair, and provide technical support for hospital biomedical instruments.
Maintain records of equipment service, preventive maintenance schedules, and warranty claims.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for spare parts, installation, and after-sales service.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and hospital regulations regarding biomedical devices.
Assist in procurement planning, technical evaluation, and budget estimation of new medical equipment.
Train clinical staff on safe and proper use of biomedical equipment.
