Additional Requirements:
  • Age At least 25 years
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Pharmacy, Operations Management, or a related field.  

  • 1–2 years of experience in operations, retail coordination, or administrative roles (preferably in pharmacy, FMCG, or retail sectors).

  • Sound understanding of outlet-level operational processes, documentation, and cross-department workflows. 

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data management systems. 

  • Willingness to travel regularly for outlet visits and field follow-ups.



Responsibilities & Context:

To ensure operational consistency, compliance, and efficient communication across outlets and internal teams—supporting Akij Pharmacy’s commitment to service quality, process excellence, and outlet performance.

Responsibilities:

Operational Coordination

  • Act as the central point of coordination between pharmacy outlets and internal departments including Supply Chain, IT, Accounts, HR, and Compliance.
  • Follow up on outlet operational issues and ensure timely resolution by escalating to the respective teams.
  • Monitor daily operational workflows such as product availability, staffing, and utility management at the outlet level.

Surprise Visits & Compliance Checks

  • Conduct regular surprise visits to outlets to audit adherence to SOPs, branding standards, cleanliness, product display, expiry control, and customer service quality.
  • Identify gaps during visits, provide immediate corrective feedback, and prepare structured reports for management review.
  • Monitor invoice and GRN matching, and check documentation accuracy at the outlet level.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on outlet performance, operational compliance, and incident tracking.
  • Assist in the consolidation of sales, inventory, and footfall data from all outlets and generate summary dashboards for internal review.
  • Track and maintain records of outlet-level observations, follow-up actions, and improvement status.

Cross-functional Support

  • Collaborate with other departments to facilitate the implementation of new initiatives, promotional activities, and operational rollouts.
  • Support new outlet setup activities as and when required by coordinating materials, manpower, and logistics.
  • Assist in the onboarding process of outlet staff by providing operational orientation or support documentation.
