Responsibilities & Context:

Bashundhara Cement is looking for an Assistant Engineer/Engineer (VRM–CCR Operation) to operate and monitor the Vertical Roller Mill (VRM) and coal mill from the Central Control Room. The role focuses on ensuring stable VRM performance, maintaining quality standards, and coordinating with quality, operations, and maintenance teams for smooth mill operation in a shifting duty environment.

Job Responsibilities:

1. To operate the VRM coal mill, along with the other process equipment of the VRM circuit from the CCR.

2. To run the mill in the best stable way through monitoring and controlling of all process parameters (like mill feed, vibration, outlet temp, power consumption, etc) to ensure the best mill performance.

3. Always adhere to produce quality cement as per the recipe set by the Quality Assurance department (QAD).

4. To log the different operational data in the log book of the different process equipment during their duty period.

5. To maintain a close tie with the QAD & the operational team working in the field, intended for smoother mill operation.

6. Cooperate with the maintenance department during the equipment maintenance period.

7. Report any process deviation or equipment malfunction to the concerned department/official immediately.

8. Must be a young, energetic & well-behaved person along with having good computer literacy.

9. Must be willing to perform shift duty.
