Responsibilities & Context
1. PhD degree in the relevant discipline from a recognised university.
2. Minimum 8 years of teaching experience at the university level, including at least 4 years of experience as an Assistant Professor.
3. At least 8 research publications in recognised peer-reviewed journals, preferably including Scopus-indexed journals.
4. A strong academic background with consistently satisfactory academic results at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
5. Demonstrated excellence in teaching, research, curriculum development and academic activities.
6. Demonstrated ability to coordinate academic programmes, supervise departmental activities, manage academic affairs and contribute to institutional development.
7. Experience in academic planning, quality assurance, accreditation, curriculum review and compliance with UGC regulations and university policies will be considered an added advantage.
8. Proven ability to supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research and contribute to scholarly activities.
9. A record of research, professional achievements and academic contributions in the relevant field.
10. Experience in research project management, national and international academic collaboration and professional engagement will be given preference.
