- Age At least 34 years
Minimum 8–12 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts, preferably in the RMG sector.
At least 3–5 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role.
Strong hands-on experience in garments manufacturing financial operations.
Practical knowledge of export-import accounting, commercial banking, LC, BTB, and export proceeds realization.
Strong understanding of factory costing, budgeting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
Sound knowledge of Bangladesh VAT & Tax regulations and applicable financial compliance requirements.
Experience with ERP-based accounting and financial management systems is highly preferred.
Responsibilities & Context
Lead and manage the overall Finance & Accounts functions of the RMG manufacturing operation.
Prepare and monitor annual budgets, cash flow forecasts, financial plans, and budgetary controls.
Ensure proper maintenance of books of accounts, general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Monitor factory costing, production costs, overheads, and cost of goods manufactured.
Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Manage banking operations, LC, BTB, EDF, UPAS, export proceeds realization, and other trade finance activities.
Monitor export and import transactions, commercial documentation, and foreign currency transactions.
Ensure proper VAT, Tax, AIT, and other statutory compliance in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Coordinate with external auditors, internal auditors, banks, financial institutions, and regulatory authorities.
Establish effective internal controls and financial risk management systems.
Monitor working capital, fund utilization, cash management, and financial performance.
Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to management for business decisions.
Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
