Responsibilities & Context:

We are looking for a dynamic QC Asst Manager who will be responsible for the Quality Control Department, who is experienced with Columbia & Inditex buyer.

  • Perform various types of inspections while identifying and controlling non-conforming products during production.

  • Train station QCs to provide solutions and proactively guide factories to avoid non-conforming products to the team.

  • Follow through on risk assessment, customer comments, check and verify all comments from Size Set, conduct Pre-Production Meeting (PPM), and start pilot and bulk production.

  • Ensure style files and all relevant approvals are received by QC and the factory to start the order.

  • Follow up and ensure all process controls and correct machines are in place to achieve the required quality levels and production output as planned.

  • Train factory QC, certify, and ensure effective use of the factory laboratory, where available.

  • Initiate quality improvement projects (knitting, linking, finishing) in factories and monitor progress with MIS weekly and monthly.

  • Check workmanship, quality, measurement, fitting, and materials as per techpacks and highlight discrepancies in production.

  • Drive daily production, meet factory top management, and solve issues.

  • Conduct in-line, pre-final, packing audit, and Final Random Inspection (FRI) as per SOP and make sure customers` quality, test, and packaging requirements are delighted and ensure no potential risks.

  • Handle all the third-party audit or buyer audit like QBE/STW. And control the in-line and final inspections effectively.

  • Evaluate QC team performance and initiate training or necessary steps to keep

  • everyone up to the mark.

  • Any other tasks as assigned by the management.
