Job Responsibilities:
∎ Main Objective: The Assistant project officer will be employed at Chattogram district. She will be appointed under MJF supported project of CRP. Her work station will be the CRP centers and will be working with Upzilla level disable people organizations under the name of Upzilla Disabled People Development Councils (UDPDCs). She will be reportable to the project manager as well as to the concern authorities.
∎ Major Job Responsibilities:
∎ Closely work with the Upzilla Disabled People Development Councils (UDPDCs).
∎ Working with a minimum of 2 Upzilla/UDPDC of a District.
∎ Working in the team of CRP divisional centre.
∎ Participate each and every activity of the UDPDCS and work as an Executive committee member of that organization.
∎ Attend the EC meetings of the UDPDCs and helping to take important decisions
∎ Assist UDPDCs to organize all advocacy and awareness-raising events.
∎ Helping UDPDCs maintaining a different register, data-based accounting books.
∎ Assist UDPDCs initiating different IGA and rehabilitation program
∎ Organizing different organizational development program for the UDPDCs
∎ Monitor the project related financial issues of the UDPDCs and helping for proper documentation.
∎ Attend project planning meeting in the head office in every month
∎ According to the meeting prepare the monthly action plan.
∎ Take advance for organizing the different event and submit the adjustment and report to the head office in time.
∎ Prepare and collect the quarterly program and financial report of the UDPDC and submit to the head office.
∎ Attend different home visit, survey and prepare the report.
∎ Maintain regular communication with the project stakeholders.
∎ Work collaboratively with UDPDC leaders and members to ensure necessary trainees for vocational and project training.
∎ Mobilize beneficiaries for a mobility aid, equipment and capital support.
∎ Conduct home visit of persons with disabilities.
∎ Disburse UDPDCs fund and reimburse it with project accounts on a quarterly basis.
∎ Facilitate in linking the DPO leaders with the duty bearers in awareness rising on disability rights.
∎ Assist the DPO leaders and members for getting the disability ID card and disability allowance for the persons with disabilities.
∎ Assist in compilation of quarterly /annual and project compilation report.
∎ Ensure necessary trainees for vocational and project training.
∎ Facilitate in DPO formation.
∎ Assist in preparing policy documents of the DPOs.
∎ Submission of the monthly progress report.
∎ Facilitate the DPO leaders in organizational record keeping like maintaining a register, an activity list and other documents.
∎ Identification of Persons with Disabilities in the Community level.
∎ Providing primary treatment, health education, and refer the persons with disabilities to the divisional centres for further management.
∎ Facilitate in awareness rising on disability rights and education on preventive measures among the community people and also the UDPDC members.
∎ Facilitate the UDPDC members for their community activities and mobilization of the persons with disabilities.
∎ Support in mobilizing children with disabilities for their schooling.
∎ Any other duty as assigned by the supervisor.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 18 to 30 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Good writing and speaking skills in Bangla & English.
∎ Good computer literacy in Microsoft word, excel and internet operations.
∎ Excellent motivational skill.
∎ Positive and friendly mindset towards persons with disabilities.
∎ Good sensibility on gender.
∎ Strong commitment and hard working.
∎ Willing to frequent field visit.
∎ Computer skills, including Microsoft Office and typing (Bangla and English),
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
∎ CBR, Social Work, Counseling, Home Visit, Data Management, Program
∎ Organizing, Resource Mobilization, Vocational Training, etc.

Salary: Tk. 18000 (Monthly)
