Responsibilities & Context:

Key Responsibilities:

1.       Business Development & Supplier/Customer Acquisition

  • Build and maintain a visible pipeline

  • Identify, qualify, and secure new customers

  • Source and onboard new suppliers

  • Prepare proposals, quotations and commercial terms for Manager’s approval to execute.

 

2.       Account Management & Retention

  • Own day‑to‑day account servicing: forecasting, orders, deliveries, claims coordination, and after‑sales support.

  • Maintain regular business reviews with key accounts and suppliers; monitor satisfaction, credit performance, and growth plans.

  • Track pricing, margins, and inventory positions; take timely actions to protect profitability.

 

3.       Market Intelligence & Overseas Office Support

  • Provide the foreign offices with timely market updates

 

4.       Customer Service & Operations Coordination

  • Coordinate closely with Customer Service/Logistics/Finance to ensure on‑time delivery, accurate documentation and payments.

  • Assist with demand planning, shipment scheduling, and exception handling.

 

5.       Governance and compliance

  • Adhere to company policies and applicable local legislations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering/ Polymer Science/ Chemistry/ Applied Chemistry or related disciplines.

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Life & Healthcare and Chemical sales.

  • Personal strength and tenacity to create and maintain new and existing businesses.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in Business English.

  • Maintains a high standard of professional grooming and business etiquette in line with international commercial norms.
