Responsibilities & Context:
Plan, schedule, and supervise daily washing activities to meet production targets.
Monitor workflow, timelines, and resource allocation.
Ensure correct washing recipes/processes are followed (enzyme, bleach, acid wash, etc.).
Monitor and control quality standards by coordinating with QA and production teams. as per buyer's requirements.
Coordinate with production, QC, and merchandising teams for wash approvals and execution.
Guide and train line supervisors and workers on wash processes and SOPs.
Ensure compliance with chemical handling, environmental, and safety regulations.
Troubleshoot process issues to reduce rewash and rejection rates.
Maintain production and quality reports regularly.
Monitor shrinkage, colorfastness, hand feel, and shade consistency.
Coordinate lab tests (e.g., rubbing, washing fastness).
Assist in developing new wash styles per buyer trends
Assist in implementing sustainable and cost-effective washing practices. - Any other task assigned by the management.
