Experience:
CA (CC) from top big firm with partly Qualified;
10 years and above and at least 5 years working experience in the said position;
Must have the practical experience in the position of Assistant Manager (Tax & VAT) in Textile Industry, Food & Beverage Industry, Printing & Package industry & Flour mills industry for at least 05 years and the total experience should be not less than 10 years in the relevant field.
Computer Literacy: MS Office (Excel/ Word/ Power Point) and Vat Software.
The incumbent should have Vat & Tax related training/workshop.
Strong written and verbal communication skills both in English & Bangla.
As an Assistant Manager specializing in Tax and Value Added Tax (VAT) , candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the company`s VAT and tax compliance and reporting processes. Also, he will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely reporting, compliance with tax laws and regulations, and optimizing tax strategies to minimize liabilities while maximizing benefits.
VAT Compliance:
Manage the preparation, filing, and payment of VAT returns accurately and on time.
Ensure compliance with VAT laws and regulations, including any changes or updates.
Coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary data for VAT calculations and reporting.
Maintain all VAT statutory registers for SBUs of the group and maintain due processes and documentation about VAT, Income tax, and transfer pricing transactions
Support cross-functional teams with accurate information, statements, and guidance on tax and VAT matters
Prepare all Vat papers in regular basis and handle all information data requests.
Tax Compliance:
Prepare various tax returns, including corporate income tax, withholding tax, and other applicable taxes.
Responsible for monthly, quarterly and annually return submission, hearing and assessment finalization TAX & VAT authority
Prepare of Financial Statements of all business unites of the group considering TAX & VAT compliance;
Ensure Co-operation with the External Auditors for auditing Financial Statements.
Ensure Co-operate the supervisors / submit the Annual Tax Return of all companies.
Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the company.
Develop and implement strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize tax benefits.
Provide guidance and advice to internal stakeholders on VAT and tax-related
Collaborate with AGM-Tax and external tax advisors or consultants as needed to address complex tax issues and optimize tax planning strategies.
Develop risk analysis and mitigation strategy in a compliance point of view.
Implementation of tax planning ideas in order to minimize tax liability.
Tax audit coordination with tax authorities, external auditors, and consultants for all tax matters.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management from time to time
