Knowledge of biotechnology, vaccines, sterile injectables, pharmaceutical validation and excipient applications.Working knowledge of the validation process in the relevant technical context.
Responsibilities & Context
Develop and expand MEPL’s pharmaceutical business by promoting pharmaceutical raw materials, excipients and other relevant products to pharmaceutical manufacturers, achieving sales and collection targets, developing technical relationships, and ensuring profitable growth through effective customer and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities
A. Sales & Business Development
Achieve assigned quarterly and annual sales and collection targets.
Develop new customers and expand business with existing pharmaceutical manufacturers.
Promote MEPL’s approved product portfolio, identify new business opportunities and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
B. Technical Sales & Product Development
Develop and maintain relationships with pharmaceutical companies’ R&D, QC and other relevant technical departments to generate business opportunities.
Influence technical stakeholders to evaluate MEPL’s products for biotechnology, vaccine and sterile injectable applications.
Develop business in pharmaceutical excipients and support customer product development, formulation trials and product evaluation.
Maintain working knowledge of pharmaceutical validation requirements and relevant technical documentation.
Understand Validation process in the relevant pharmaceutical manufacturing.
C. Customer & Supplier Coordination
Understand customer specifications, technical requirements, procurement plans and product approval procedures.
Coordinate product samples, technical documents, specifications and certificates of analysis with international suppliers and customers.
D. Collection & Credit Control
Achieve assigned collection targets and ensure timely recovery of outstanding receivables.
Monitor customer credit limits, overdue balances and payment commitments.
